In the heart of the Como Mountains, re.te is developing an exciting new project that merges traditional architecture, natural landscapes, and contemporary design to create a unique agritourism destination in Val d’Intelvi.
Located on over 15,000 square meters of agricultural land, the project centers around the renovation and reconversion of a historic structure, expanding its volume to accommodate new functions while respecting the landscape and topography. The agritourism will feature:
- A honey laboratory to showcase local beekeeping traditions
- A communal space for cooking, dining, and social interaction among guests
- Two mini-apartments and two private rooms, offering an immersive retreat in nature
- A barbecue area, fostering an authentic rural experience
Designed to blend harmoniously with its surroundings, the project prioritizes minimal landscape alteration, integrating different levels to adapt to the natural terrain. This initiative represents a sustainable vision for rural tourism, enhancing local heritage, agriculture, and community engagement in the breathtaking setting of Val d’Intelvi.
